Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

RenewKeeper ("RenewKeeper", "we", "us") is operated by "Anjana Silva, sole trader, trading as RenewKeeper". By accessing or using the RenewKeeper application (app.renewkeeper.com) or website (renewkeeper.com), whether as a visitor or a registered user, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use RenewKeeper. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always available at https://renewkeeper.com/terms-of-use.

2. Description of the service

RenewKeeper is a tool that helps you track things that expire — such as SSL certificates, domains, licences, subscriptions, insurance, and documents — and sends you reminders before they lapse. The service, including any updates or new features, is subject to these Terms.

3. Accounts and access

To use RenewKeeper you must sign in through a supported single sign-on (SSO) provider (currently Google or Microsoft). We do not issue or manage passwords; account security at the provider level is your responsibility.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us at support@renewkeeper.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

Access may be provided on a temporary basis, and we may withdraw, restrict, or amend the service (including for maintenance) without notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use RenewKeeper only for lawful purposes. In particular:

• Track only what is yours. You must only use RenewKeeper to track items that belong to you, or that you are authorised to track on behalf of someone else.
• You must not use the service in any way that is unlawful, or that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.
• You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or connected systems.

5. Do not store sensitive secrets

RenewKeeper is not a password manager or secrets vault. You must not enter passwords, actual API keys, private keys, card numbers, or other sensitive credentials into RenewKeeper. Content you add is stored unencrypted. You should record only the fact that something expires and when — never the sensitive value itself. You are responsible for the content you choose to store, and we are not liable for any loss arising from sensitive credentials you store contrary to this term.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details; your payment information is handled by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy (see https://stripe.com/legal).

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. On cancellation, your paid access continues until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account moves to the free plan.

7. No refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel, or if we suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, you will not receive a refund or credit for any unused portion of a subscription.

8. Availability and "as is" service

We aim to keep RenewKeeper available and its reminders reliable, but we provide the service "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every reminder will be delivered. You remain responsible for the renewals and expiries that matter to you; RenewKeeper is a helpful aid, not a guarantee.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a missed reminder, service interruption, or sensitive data you stored contrary to Section 5.

10. Intellectual property

The RenewKeeper name, brand, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you. The content you add remains yours.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using RenewKeeper and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of RenewKeeper after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RenewKeeper regarding your use of the service and supersede any prior understandings.
